Fashion Meets Philanthropy: Highlights from Ready Set Shop!
Last week was an absolute dream—an exclusive evening of fashion and philanthropy that was both glamorous and heartwarming. I had the pleasure of attending ‘Ready Set Shop’, special event put on by Endo Articles dedicated to Endo March.
From the moment I arrived, the ambiance was set perfectly. The venue was tucked away in an industrial complex, and on entering it felt like stepping into another world. There was champagne freely flowing and a range of delicious nibbles going around. The room was done up with cushions, yellow florals and soft lights creating an atmosphere that was both intimate and inviting.
The highlight of the evening was the personal styling session with the acclaimed designer, Sibel, of SIBELY the Label. Sibel shared her lived experience with endometriosis and encouraged us how to embrace fashion trends in a body that can feel at times unpredictable. Equally engaging was the model Sibel used - Emilia Victoria, a fearless endometriosis advocate. Emilia looked beautiful in everything she tried on and spoke candidly about her life with endometriosis, making the night feel even more impactful.
And let’s not forget the shopping experience! The Endo Articles team had secured VIP discounts were nothing short of amazing. I lucked out with a Ganni vest, Bec and Bridge dress and 2 pairs of Viktoria and Woods jeans - all from this year and for a total of $80! It was the perfect opportunity to snag some incredible pieces while knowing that my purchases were supporting a worthy cause.
It was a night to remember, filled with fashion, meaningful conversations, and a strong sense of community support. If you ever get the chance to attend an Endo Articles event, I highly recommend it. Not only do you get to enjoy a fabulous evening, but you also contribute to supporting the endometriosis community.
